He answered back: ‘No. I already got a plane ticket, and it was really hard to get. I’m leaving now. I’m sorry’. It got me by surprise but, look, I don’t care. I’m not even angry, maybe sad -yes, definitely I’m sad- but I’m not angry. I don’t know what happened, but it was his choice.”

Apenas supe nada de él hasta llegar a Portomarin. A la entrada vi un autobus enorme, esperando, y me pareció raro. Cuando llegué al pueblo recibí un mensaje, ‘No lo estoy pasando bien’, decía, ‘no lo estoy disfrutando.’ Mi amigo estaba en el bus que acababa de ver. Le respondí que por favor no se marchara, que se lo pensara, le dije que por qué no nos cogiamos un hotel, uno bueno y descansabamos un día, tomándonoslo con calma y veíamos qué tal se encontraba. Me respondió que no, que ya tenía el vuelo comprado, que lo había conseguido de casualidad y que se marchaba ya; que lo sentía. Fue un golpe, de verdad que fue un golpe. Pero, mira, ya paso. De hecho no estoy ni enfadada, estoy triste -triste sí- pero no enfadada. Fue su decisión. Él se lo pierde.”
