“I don’t know what’s happened. Last night, in bed, I put the glasses in their case, left them by my side, and went to sleep. This morning I found them like this; I guess I just rolled over and crashed them. The good thing is that only the left glass is broken —the right one is intact—, and I’m completely blind in that eye, so…, well, I guess I was lucky.”

“No sé que ha pasado. Esta noche, en cama, he puesto las gafas en su funda, las he dejado a mi lado y me he puesto a dormir. Por la mañana estaban así; supongo que me he movido y las he aplastado. Lo bueno es que solo el cristal derecho se ha roto -el izquierdo esta intacto- y estoy completamente ciego de ese ojo, así que…, bueno, supongo que he tenido suerte.”
