“I love improvising plans, going to the airport with the little money I
have saved, and choosing there which flight to pick and where to go. I came to Galicia to see some friends. Yesterday I slept in the Cíes islands, and Saturday I’ll go to a zombie survival event in Tui. I had a couple of days in between and had heard about the Camino, so I decided to come here, and try to make it to Santiago. It’s been fun so far; I´ve met really interesting people and the landscapes are beautiful, but, due to the lack of planning, I haven’t brought appropriate enough footwear —only a pair of cheap sneakers— and they are, literally, destroying my feet so… I don’t really know what to do: maybe I should wake up early tomorrow and try to arrive in Santiago on foot, or… take a bus to Santiago from Pedrouzo, then a train to Vigo, and rest all evening and night, allowing my feet to heal a little and the blisters to dry out, so the next day I won’t be such an easy prey for the zombies.”

“Me encanta improvisar planes, ir al aeropuerto con el poco dinero que haya podido ahorrar y escoger un vuelo y un destino sin pensarlo mucho. He venido a Galicia a ver a unos amigos. Ayer dormí en las Islas Cíes y el sábado voy a un evento de supervivencia zombie en Vigo. En medio tenía estos dos días y decidí venirme aquí, a ver de qué iba esto e intentar llegar a Santiago. Está siendo divertido, he conocido a gente interesante y los paisajes son bonitos, pero no he traido calzado apropiado – solo un par de zapatillas de deporte baratas- y el problema es que me están, literalmente, destrozándo los pies. Asi que no sé qué hacer: puedo levantarme mañana temprano e intentar llegar a Santiago caminando, o… quizás coger un bus a Santiago desde Pedrouzo, desde allí un tren hasta Vigo, y aprovechar la tarde para descansar los pies, intentar que las ampollas se curen un poco y así tener, al menos, una mínima oportunidad el sábado ante los zombies. No sé…”
