“The Primitive Way is a lot quieter than the French one; there are a lot fewer people (also fewer services: cafés to stop and rest, fountains to fill your canteen …) This time I’ve started in Lugo. The first stages I could barely find anybody and then, as I was approaching Santiago, I suddenly found the crowd. It was a nice contrast.”

“El Camino Primitivo es más tranquilo que el Francés, hay muchísima menos gente, (también menos servicos: menos cafeterias para descansar, menos fuentes para llenar la cantimplora…) Esta vez empecé en Lugo. Las primeras etapas caminé casi solo y luego, según me iba acercando a Santiago, ya me encuentré con todo el mogollón. Fue un buen contraste.”
