Deborah: “We’ve always loved doing mother-daughter trips together, although they are usually of a different kind.”
“What kind?”
Mary: “Mmm…More like going somewhere and spending money.”
Deborah: “Going to New York, for example, and shopping like crazy.”

 

“So, this is not your usual kind of trip.”
“Mary: “No, not at all.”
Deborah: “Still, when we arrive in Santiago we’re flying to Zurich.”
“Do you have friends there?”
Deborah:”No, we are going to treat ourselves.”
“Treat yourselves?”
Mary: “Yeah! To fondue and chocolate!”
“All right.”
Deborah: “We’ve earned it”
(Laughs.)

“¿Distintos?”
Mary: “Si. En plan viajar a algún sitio y… gastar dinero.”
Deborah: “Ir a Nueva York, por ejemplo, y salir de compras.”

 

“Vamos, que este no es vuestro típico viaje.”
Mary: “No, para nada.”
Deborah: “Aún así, cuando lleguemos a Santiago nos vamos a Zurich.”
” ¿Tenéis amigos allí?
Deborah: No. Nos vamos a dar un capricho.
“¿Un capricho?”
:Mary”Si… ¡De founde y chocolate!”
“Vale.”
Deborah: “¡Nos lo hemos ganado!”
