“Six months ago I walked the Portuguese Way. It was my first Camino and I arranged to stay in hotels. I liked it, but I felt a bit alone. This time I’m staying in auberges. The first night there were seven different nationalities at the one I was in, and it felt great. I think that meeting other people —talking and walking with them— is what is so engaging about the Camino.”
