María: “We visited Fatima 9 years ago, and then went to Santiago. We knew that it was the destination of an important Pilgrimage, but were caught by surprise by the sheer amount of people arriving at the cathedral, and we thought, ‘maybe someday.’ Today’s stage has been hard for me, with many hills and this harsh sun, but everything has gone well, because my faith is very strong: ‘Please dear God, help me go thru this day, only this day,’ I pray, and it always works. My husband’s faith has grown stronger over the years and I think that I have something to do with it. Paul loves very much and he knows that it’s important for me.”

María: “Hace 9 años visitamos Fátima y después Santiago. Sabíamos que era el destino de una ruta de peregrinaje importante, pero nos sorprendió la cantidad de gente que llegaba a la catedral, y pensamos, ‘Algún día’. La etapa de hoy ha sido dura para mi, con muchas cuestas y este sol intenso, pero todo está bien, porque mi fe es fuerte: ‘Por favor, Dios, ayúdame a superar este día, solo este día”, le pido, y siempre funciona. La fe de mi marido también ha crecido, y creo que tengo algo de que ver. Paul me quiere mucho y sabe que para mi es importante.”
