¨They showed me a movie to try to convince me to come here. It was about these two friends who walk the Camino, and one of them is in a wheelchair and the other one is helping him. ‘I’ll push you’ is the movie, and they were all very emotional while watching it, crying and everything, so I said to me, ‘let’s try it’. Lucía wanted to come because she is looking for a feeling of freedom, and Pierre has his own spiritual reasons. For me… I don’t know yet. Everything has been good so far, even though is the second day and we’ve already lost a friend who came with us but met a guy and left us for him, but we are managing. Anyway, this is better than our day to day life, which is more about work and routine. Our only worry here is to arrive safe at the end of each day’s stage, so we’re good.”

¨Para convencerme de venir me pusieron una película sobre dos amigos que hacen el Camino Francés, uno de ellos en silla de ruedas y el otro empujándolo, ‘I’ll push you’, se llama. Todos estaban muy emocionados viéndola, lloraban y todo, y me dije, ‘bueno, vamos a ver’. Lucía quería venir porque buscaba una sensación de libertad, y Pierre tiene motivos espirituales para estar aquí, y yo pues…todavía no lo sé. Por ahora va todo bien, aunque es el segundo día y ya hemos perdido a una amiga que vino con nosotros y que conoció a un chico y nos dejó por él, pero, bueno… vamos sobreviviendo. En cualquier caso es mejor que el día a día, que es trabajo y rutina. Nuestra única preocupación es llegar al final de la etapa de cada día, así que… bien.¨
