Joan: “This is my first Camino.”

Laia: “For me, it’s the second—I’ve already done it, from Sarria. We’re friends and we wanted to enjoy a fun summer plan together.”

Joan: “Something different from the typical sun and beach holiday with little exercise. It’s been a challenge so far, but I’m loving sharing it with friends”.

Laia: “The funny thing is that my partner and my one-year-old son are also here. Right now, they are in a van ahead of us, and they’ll wait for us at the end of the stage with our food ready.”

Joan: “And they take turns every day: one of them walks with me and the other one drives and takes care of the child.”

Laia: “So, it’s only Joan and Muna who will actually walk the whole Camino—the rest of us will only do half of it.” (Laughs.)

Joan: “Para mi este es mi primer Camino”.

Laia: “Para mi el segundo; ya lo había hecho desde Sarria. Somos amigos y nos apetecía un plan de verano divertido”.

Joan: “Y distinto al típico de sol y playa y poco ejercicio. Ha supuesto un reto y me está encantando compartirlo con amigos”.

Laia: “Es que el tema es que también ha venido mi pareja y mi hijo de un año. Ellos ahora mismo van adelante en una furgoneta y nos esperan al final de la etapa con la comida preparada”.

Joan: “Y cada día se turnan: uno viene conmigo a caminar y el otro conduce y cuida del niño”.

Laia: “Así que Joan y Muna son los únicos que hacen el Camino completo, en realidad, el resto hacemos la mitad”. (Risas.)
