Camino survival tips#1 (Leti and Vane, Spain.)

“Last night at the hostel there was this guy who was snoring loudly and this other man* who was getting increasingly nervous. They ended up arguing and leaving the room, first one of them and then the other. I don’t think they got any more sleep that night, neither of them.

So, pilgrim, this is our advice:

If you are going to stay at hostels, you either bring patience, or you bring earplugs. It’s your choice. Otherwise, you’d better be able to afford a hotel”

“Esta noche en el albergue habia un tipo que roncaba mucho. Otro, que dormía al lado,*  se empezó a poner más y más nervioso y terminaron discutiendo. Primero se marchó uno y luego se marchó el otro. No sé dónde dormirian.

Así que, peregrino, este es nuestro consejo:

Si vas a dormir en albergues trae paciencia o trae tapones. Si no, págate un hotel.”
