“Our daughter called us this morning and I picked up the phone, a bit worried: ‘Is everything OK honey?‘ ‘Why?’ she asked. `Well, you are usually at work at this time in the morning and can’t pick the phone, so something must have happened.’ She went silent for a moment: ‘You don’t even know what day it is, do you?’ ‘Mmm…’ I thought. ‘It’s Sunday,’ she said, ‘It’s my free day!’ And then we all started to laugh.
It’s such a great feeling not to even have to know what day of the week it is! It’s so different from our everyday lives. I love it.”

“Nuestra hija nos llamó esta mañana y cogí el teléfono, un poco preocupada: ‘¿Todo bien, cariño?’, ‘¿Por qué?’ —me preguntó. ‘Bueno, normalmente estás trabajando a estas horas y no puedes llamar, así que algo ha debido pasar’. Se quedó callada un momento: ‘No sabéis qué día es hoy, ¿verdad?’. ‘Mmm…’ —dije. ‘Es domingo, es mi día libre’—dijo ella. Y nos empezamos a reír. Es una sensación genial el no tener que saber en qué día vives. Es muy distinto a nuestro día a día. Me encanta.”
