Water falls from the bright air
It falls like hair
Falling across a young girl’s shoulders
Water falls
Making pools in the asphalt
Dirty mirrors with clouds and buildings inside
It falls on the roof of my house
Falls on my mother and on my hair
Most people call it rain

CASCADAS

Cae agua desde el aire resplandeciente,
cae en cascadas
como cabello sobre los hombros de una adolescente
Cae agua, haciendo charcos en los huecos del asfalto.
Espejos sucios con nubes y edificios adentro.
Cae en el techo de mi casa, cae en mi madre y en mi pelo.
La mayoría de la gente lo llama “lluvia”.
