Elisabeta: “Of course! Everything is the Portuguese lady’s fault.” (Laughs.)

Teresa: “The four of us are friends and mothers, and our children are friends too. One day we started to talk about walking the Camino and here we are”.

Teresa: “While our husbands are back home taking care of our children.” (Laughs.)

Beatriz: “And ours are large families. We’re bad mothers. (Laughs.)

Carmen: “My daughter calls the Camino ‘The Mother-Stealer’, (Laughs.) Isn’t it funny ?”

Elisabeta: “‘Santiago, The Mother-Stealer’, that’s a good one. (Laughs.)

Elisabeta: “ Este es nuestro primer Camino de Santiago”.

Elisabeta: “¡Claro! la culpa es siempre de la portuguesa (Risas).

Teresa: “Las cuatro somos amigas y madres, y nuestros hijos también se llevan muy bien entre ellos. Nos pusimos un día a hablar de hacer el Camino y aquí estamos”.

Teresa: “Mientras nuestros maridos se han quedado en casa con los niños”. (Risas.)

Beatriz: “Y tenemos familias numerosas, ¿eh?. Somos malas madres”. (Risas.)

Carmen: “Mi hija le llama, al Camino, le llama ‘El Robamadres’. (Risas.) ¿Qué te parece?”

Elisabeta: “‘Santiago el Robamadres’, esa sí que es buena”.
