Lisa: “This is our first Camino. We first heard about it from friends and on the Internet. We chose the English Way because it’s short and because it’s all inside the same region, Galicia, so we don’t have to worry about restrictions.”

Francesca: “We also liked that this year they’re celebrating the Xacobeo, and so far, so good; we’re really happy with the experience. We also feel that people here are, in general, very kind.”

Lisa: “We love that everybody says hello, even people passing by in cars. We were also very surprised when we found a basket full of fresh fruit that somebody had left in the middle of the path for the pilgrims to take some. That was nice.”

Francesca: “And the relationship with other pilgrims is amazing; there are no formalities or differences because of age. It’s as if we’ve known each other forever.”

Lisa: “Exactly.”

Lisa: “Este es nuestro primer Camino. Lo descubrimos por amigos y por internet. Nos decidimos por el Camino Inglés porque es bastante corto y porque es todo dentro de la misma comunidad, Galicia, con lo que evitamos restricciones”.

Francesca: “También nos atrajo que este año es año Xacobeo, y hasta ahora muy bien; estamos muy contentas con la experiencia. La gente, en general, es muy amable aquí”.

Lisa: “Nos gusta que todo el mundo saluda, incluso los que pasan en coche. También nos sorprendió que alguien había dejado una cesta de fruta, en el medio del camino, para que los peregrinos cogiéramos. Nos pareció muy bonito”.

Francesca: “Y la relación con los otros peregrinos es fantástica; no hay formalidades ni diferencias por la edad. Es como si los conocieras de siempre”.

Lisa: “Tal cual.”
