“These are my holidays and I’m spoiling myself a bit, so instead of staying at auberges, I’m sleeping in hotels. What I’d change is having booked all the rooms in advance because, although my guidebook didn’t say anything about that, there are nice villages, small places in the route, and it would be great to be able to improvise and spend the night in some of these places if I’d felt like it.

“Estas son mis vacaciones y me estoy mimando un poco, así que en vez de quedarme en albergues, estoy durmiendo en hoteles. Lo que cambiaría es haber venido con todas la habitaciones reservadas porque, aunque mi guía del Camino no lo menciona, hay sitios bonitos, pueblos pequeños en medio de la ruta, y sería genial poder improvisar y quedarme a dormir en alguno de ellos, si de casualidad me apeteciera.”
